Specialization
I have in the past represented ROLLINS HOME BUILDERS, INC., which is owned by my husband, Philip Rollins. Philip builds primarily speculative homes in the Upper price range of $430, 000 and up, and designs his own floor plans and interiors. Custom Homes have been a sideline, as a result of clients seeing his unique designs, and quality construction. For the past two years, due to the failing economy, he has not built anything new. We are waiting for a demand to reappear for these type homes in our area.
After over 30 years of working for various local Real Estate Companies, I now have my office at home, where I take care to work with Buyers and Sellers in a selective way, affording me more time with fewer customers and clients. I feel I can give better service and more personal one-on-one time, with fewer listings and Buyers. I am primarily a Seller's Agent.
Personal
I have been active in the Real Estate Industry for over 35 years in the Hickory area, serving over 5 years as Broker in Charge of the local Century 21 office, managing over 24 agents. Virginia was my birthplace, but I am proud to call Hickory, NC "Home".
I am Past 2006 President of the Catawba Valley Association of REALTORS, and currently serving on the Board of Directors.
I have attended Catawba Valley Community College, even teaching evening Real Estate, and related Courses, but my most valuable education has been within the National, State and Local REALTOR affiliation. Previous education and work experience has been in Banking and Mortgage Lending, but even then, I worked within the Real Estate Market. My interests include spending time with my family, traveling, participating in my Church Chancel Choir, and Handbell Ensemble, local Home Builders Association, and community volunteering with Soup Kitchen, and Meals on Wheels for Catawba County. I have also participated in the Habitat for Humanity Organization in construction projects. I really enjoy helping families relocate to our area, as well as assist young adults in the first home purchase. I have traveled on mission trips several times to Brazil, and have completed a European tour with my siblings. I love travel and meeting new people, leading to networking and forming more relationships. Helping people sell, and buy is my greatest enjoyment.
